About Me

I’m drawn to the moments that happen naturally. The quiet in-between interactions, the movement, the emotion, the way a moment felt more than the way it looked. That’s what led me to photography in the first place, and it’s still what inspires the way I document people today.

My approach is relaxed, intentional, and connection-focused. I’ll guide you when needed, but I never want sessions to feel stiff or overly posed. The goal is always to create space for real moments to unfold naturally so your images feel honest, timeless, and true to you.

Over the years, photography has allowed me to document so many meaningful seasons—wedding days, growing families, motherhood, milestones, beloved animals, and the quieter everyday moments that deserve to be remembered just as much as the big ones.

Outside of photography, you’ll usually find me spending time outdoors, around animals, traveling, or with the people I love most. A lot of the way I photograph is shaped by those things—an appreciation for connection, atmosphere, and finding beauty in moments that aren’t overly polished.

At the heart of everything I do is the belief that photos should bring you back to a feeling. Not just what the moment looked like, but what it was like to actually be there.

I’m so glad you’re here, and I’d be honored to tell your story in a way that feels true to you.

Hi, I’m Kirsten — the photographer behind Found & Felt Photos.

My Approach

My number one goal at every session and wedding? To have fun!

The best photos happen when you feel comfortable enough to be fully yourself.

My approach to every session and wedding is centered around creating an experience that feels relaxed, natural, and genuinely fun—not stiff or overly posed. I’ll guide you when needed, keep things moving naturally, and pay attention to the little things that help you settle into the moment instead of worrying about the camera.

Every session looks a little different because every person, couple, family, and animal is different too.

For families with young kids, that might mean bringing along little distractions, toys, or something silly to help create real laughter instead of forced smiles. For sessions with animals, I come prepared with treats, noises, patience, and usually a strategy to keep things as stress-free as possible for everyone involved.

For couples and solo sessions, I always encourage incorporating pieces of your real life—whether that’s a favorite location, a blanket for a picnic, boots covered in dirt, your dog tagging along, or something meaningful to your relationship. Those details are often what make a gallery feel personal instead of generic.

And on wedding days, I’m there for far more than just the photos.

I’ll fix veils, pin boutonnières, keep timelines on track, carry bouquets, calm nerves, and quietly handle the little things you shouldn’t have to think about. My goal is for you to feel supported enough to stay fully present while I document the day as it naturally unfolds.

At the end of it all, I want your experience to feel easy, intentional, and true to you—and for your photos to bring you right back to how it all felt.
